(Concept Design Only) When Budweiser American Ale was introduced into market, the brand needed a series of ads which would entail billboard designs as well as print ads to coincide with the launch. Budweiser American Ale was produced from barley farmed in America’s heartland. I created the headline "From Amber Waves of Grain" since it's a recognizable phrase from the very American song, "America, the Beautiful." Placing this headline and product over the image of a field of grain reiterated how closely connected this beer was to the land — so much so, in fact, that visually the foamy head of the beer became part of the expansive field’s skyline (and the skyline became part of the head of the beer). The two images of the heartland field and Budweiser American Ale meshed together to become one of the same in the horizon.
